Le Colombier d'Antan – 300 m2 + Heated pool

Holidays in the sun, not overlooked! Close to all sights and amenities (5 min walk to the center of Les Vans - 10 min to the river), mosquito nets in each room. Here everything is big: the shaded garden, the indoor heated swimming pool, the 200-year-old trees, the bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. The coolness of the stone walls allows you to eat in the cool dining room if needed. Swings, a trampoline, a petanque corner. Shade or sun to choose from at any time! The space On the ground floor, overlooking terraces and garden: - The games room with sofas, TV, removable game mat... - The dining room for 14 people - A fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, large fridge-freezer + small fridge, toaster, coffee makers, kettle, food processor...) - A toilet + sink. On the Pearls floor (1st): - The Sapphire room: 1 Queen Size bed + a sofa bed, with shower and closets - The Emerald room: 1 bed of 160 + 1 of 90, with shower and toilet  Ideal for 2-3 children/young people or 1 couple with a child. - The Jade room (spacious): 1 bed of 140 + 1 bed of 90 - The Chrysoprase room: 1 bed with 2 70 cm mattresses with backrests that can be raised. Ideal for reading, for naps... - 1 bathroom: shower with sink - 1 WC. On the Star floor (2nd): - The Star Room: 2 beds of 90 cm - The Moon Room (spacious): 1 bunk bed of 140 cm, between 2 and 4 beds according to your needs... - The Library room: 1 140 cm bed. - 1 bathroom with double sinks - 1 bathroom: shower with sink - 1 toilet - 1 hall In the basement you have the laundry room with double sinks, 2 washing machines. Possibility to provide 1 baby crib + 1 baby bathtub Provision of roller skates and skates with protection and small pool equipment (fries...) The tenants loved the beauty of the place, "a castle" and the children's floor (the 2nd). Beware for late sleepers, the neighborhood is noisy, calm is required outdoors at night. Guest access The whole house, pool and garden is for you! At least 6 parking spaces and the possibility to unload your groceries and luggage at the foot of the house. Other things to note Welcome to our large family home! A car is no longer necessary! A 5-minute walk away you have the heart of Les Vans (market, local shops and artisans, restaurants and various entertainment), 10 minutes away you can dip your feet in the river (Chassezac) and 5 minutes further you arrive at a large body of water for beautiful swimming (the Puech). The 1898 Colombier d'Antan offers you all the comforts for a dozen people, 15 maximum: good beds, good armchairs/sofas, multiple spacious rooms and varied spaces, the shade of a bicentennial cedar, a linden tree, a hackberry tree, a sequoia and a cypress alley that welcomes you to the entrance. Shade or sun of your choice at any time of the day! A large indoor heated swimming pool not overlooked and many games that we leave at your disposal: trampoline for 6 children, 2 swings, bowling games and more on request (rollers, skate). The park of about 2,000 m² is fenced, with a shaded terrace and a barbecue (charcoal is available). Ideal for families in summer, at Christmas or New Year! Our animal friends are welcome on the ground floor only (not on beds, sofas and armchairs) and subject to a prior interview with the owner (€100 deposit)! They can sleep in the dining room. Please provide a basket or blanket during their stay. Non-smoking house, allowed only outdoors. Ideally located in South Ardèche, at the foot of the Cevennes National Park, close to Vallon Pont d'Arc (Chauvet cave) and Ruoms, 40 minutes from Alès and Aubenas. Close to many caves, climbing site, canoeing, villages of character, mountain biking, paragliding, horseback riding (Foussac), various tree climbing 10 km away, crocodile farm and farmers' and artists' markets. Superb market in Vans on Saturday morning, summer night market on Tuesday evening (5 min walk) and Chambonas (local producers) musical on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. (10 min walk). If you appreciate the built heritage, you can visit the Château des Roure from the 15th century, Château de Vogüé, the Fort and the stables of Banne, Ermitage St Eugène de Chassagnes. The natural heritage is also very rich with visits to the Aven Marzal, Grand Site de l'Aven d'Orgnac, the Grotte de la Cocalière, the Grotte de la Madeleine, the Bois de Païolive with its mystical forest of petrified limestone rocks.
