Victorian Townhouse for Family Holiday

This is our lovely 3 storey Victorian semi-detached townhouse. Super close to all amenities, 500m to a country estate and 10 mins to the main motorways or 10 mins to Parkway Rail Station. Great house for kids with plenty of indoor toys in our play room and plenty of outdoor toys in the large back garden. Large kitchen diner and separate lounge with TV. Off street parking for 1 car and plenty of free on street parking. Easy to explore central Bristol which is 4.5 miles away. The space Our family home is well stocked kitchen/dinner with everything you could imagine from coffee machine, bread maker & smoothie maker. If you are booking in Summer - the 3m pool might be up... guess that will depend on how warms its been. There is a gas bbq please, jjust plug it in and unplug when you're finished. We have 3 kid,s 12, 8 and 5 so there are numerous toys, games and outdoor things to do - all we ask is that you put them back as you found them. There is a separate playroom with a football table. The lounge is at the front of the house and a nice quiet space - we have netflix and prime on the telly. There is a loo under the stairs - which is always cold so perfect for storing booze - should you need it. It is a victorian town house so the stairs are steep and many... there are of course the odd quirks and multitude of wonkyness which comes with owning an old house. If you are expecting everything to be sparkly and new - this is not the booking for you. It is a family home with all that entails. 1st Floor Family bathroom with shower over the bath. The first floor has a double bedroom, twin room and a single room that has a captains bed and sofa bed. These are the kids rooms so there will be books and toys to play with. Please be mindful to put them back as you found them. All beds, bar the sofa will be made up so no need to bring linen. If you need the sofa bed please tell us at the booking stage. 2nd Floor: The master bedroom at the top of the house has a king size bed, ensuite and office area. Guest access You will be given a code to access the back door shortly before arrival. Other things to note We are next to a main high street - Coop or Sainsbury's Local are the closest for last minute bits or Lidl, Morrisons or Aldi for the big shop further down Fishponds Road. Morrisons also has petrol. There are loads of fabulous coffee shops for breakfast lunch or dinner. We rate the Everyday Thai if you fancy takeaway - pretty much everything else is ok but can be a very meh. There are walks around Oldbury court estate which has a river at the bottom and large playpark/cafe. Turn left out of the door and walk down the road for 6-7 minutes. There are buses straight into the city centre which take about 30 mins or if you prefer to drive - please check that your car is able to go in the congestion zone (Bristol Council website) Cabots is the best car park to park in. Please bring bath towels with you. We will endeavour to push all our belongings to one side so that you have storage in wardrobes and drawers in the bedrooms and in the kitchen. There is parking for 2 cars but its tight getting in and out. Best to park one and the other on the street. Please note as our kids are now older - we aren't in a position to accommodate toddlers/babies - there are no stair gates/highchairs/cots available, you are more than welcome to bring them with you.
