Description

Discover the perfect blend of rural tranquillity and urban adventure at Serendipity by Tiny Away. Part of a unique collection of holiday homes, this charming tiny house invites you to relax amid wide-open fields and the soothing rhythm of farm life. With Dubbo and Orange just an hour’s drive away, you’ll enjoy seamless access to the region’s vibrant mix of nature and culture. #TinyHouseNSW #HolidayHomes The space Serendipity by Tiny Away sits on the edge of the peaceful town of Parkes, just three hours from the bustling city of Canberra. This charming tiny house is one of Parkes’ inviting holiday homes, nestled amidst the beauty of the Aussie bush and offering access to our expansive 18-acre property. Set on a gentle slope with views of farmland, dams, and native plants, this tiny house is the perfect base to explore Old Dubbo Gaol, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, and the charming heritage streets of Cowra—just an hour away. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with portable electric cooktop (single burner), cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be some animal and farmyard noise during your stay with us. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing earplugs for a well-rested stay. Guest access Guests can access the tiny home and explore our 18-acre farm. In warm weather, take a dip in the pool; in cooler months, relax around the fire pit. Feel free to pick ripe seasonal produce from the gardens, and feed the chooks and guinea fowls with any food scraps. Other things to note - No uninvited guests or visitors allowed - Please note that we have chooks and guinea fowl - Recycling & garbage bins are located next to the shed - Expect potential noise from our 3-younger children and pets - No smoking inside the tiny home. Please use the ashtray provided outside the cabin when smoking - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Important note: - BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property. - Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor area of the tiny house during windy summer months. Please use the provided ashtray and stay away from the bushland. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding. Registration Details Exempt
