La Casa hostel is situated right on the sand overlooking the magical Pacific horizon, framed by the two rocks that define the Ayampe coast. The atmosphere cannot get better than this! We built La Casa to create a very special environment, characteristic of the village of Ayampe itself: warm, authentic and open-hearted. At La Casa, we offer travelers a place to stay long term. It might be the Yoga and tranquil environment, the consistent waves, the beautiful river, the magical islands in front of the beach, the delicious food, the simple and happy people, or just the fact that in Ayampe you feel a little more real than anywhere else. At La Casa, our place is your place - a place where you feel at home even in a foreign country. However, we often spend parts of the day in the hostel hanging out with our guests. We also take part in the yoga classes we offer and on Thursdays we host potluck style dinners, which we call our "La Casa family dinner nights". We host these once a week to share and spend time with our guests. When we are not in the hostel, you can find us on the beach playing with our dog, Mokha, or, more likely, in the line-up surfing :-) We look forward to meeting you and sharing our beautiful paradise with you! Other things to note This room must be rented for a minimum of 1 week: - The weekly price is $165 for 1 person or $300 for 2 people ** - The two week price is $300 for 1 person or $500 for 2 people ** - Our monthly rate is $310 for 1 person or $700 for 2 people ** **At La Casa, we believe in giving back, so 100% of the added "Community Fee" is actually donated back to the community of Ayampe. The donations are given to the local elementary school in Ayampe and to help fund various community projects in the town.
