Fresh herbs available for guest's use, and tomatoes, spinach, raspberries and lettuce may be available to harvest during your stay. The newly-finished garden room contains a sofa and provides a peaceful place to sit surrounded by trees and birdsong. It also contains some gym equipment if you’re feeling energetic as well as a table tennis table which can be brought outside in fine weather. Within the house, there are two spacious lounges, both with TVs (Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iplayer etc), a wood burner in one, plus the entrance room which doubles as a library/reading room/study area. Free on-street parking is available adjacent to the property. It’s just 7 minutes’ walk to Canley station from where local trains run to Coventry, Birmingham & London Euston. The larger Coventry station is 20-25 minutes walk, from where the fast train to London Euston takes just under an hour. In the immediate vicinity, Earlsdon main street is on the doorstep with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and take away options. Coventry City Centre, with its modern and Medieval cathedrals, transport museum, The Wave indoor water park, Belgrade Theatre, Coventry University and more is a 25 minute walk or short drive or bus ride away. Coventry War Memorial park is 10 minutes’ walk, with woodland and walking areas, foot and mini golf, free play areas including water play, a café and ice creamery. Warwick University, Kenilworth & Warwick Castles, Cadbury World, Birmingham, Birmingham airport, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and the beautiful Cotswolds can all be easily reached by car or public transport.
