Our family house is full of colour and life and is available for holiday rentals. With 4 spacious bedrooms, large open plan living and a large west facing garden, it is perfectly set up for families wanting to escape to the seaside. Dogs very much welcome to. Hove Beach, Hove Lagoon water sports, playground, skate park and pump track and the independent shops on trendy Portland Road are all a short walk. As we are in a quiet, safe, family neighbourhood we only accept family bookings. The space Our house in a nutshell: - 3 storey semi-detached 1930’s house - 4 double bedrooms (see configuration below) – sleeps 8 - 10 - 1 family bathroom, 1 shower room, 1 WC - Large west facing garden with trees, double swing, grass and terrace area (and lots of birdlife) - Beautiful, new large kitchen/diner/sofa area - Separate ‘drawing’ room with TV (virgin and internet) - Off-street parking for 1 car (additional car can be arranged) A little about us My husband and I have been living in the area for over 10 years and absolutely love it. We have 2 young children. We love cooking in our kitchen, playing in our garden, enjoying long walks on the seafront, hiking in the South Downs, the local pubs and the eclectic and energetic life of Brighton (from the sanctuary of Hove!). We have a lovely neighbourhood who are very respectful of one another so it is essential you are a considerate family. Amenities - Strong WIFI throughout the house - Washing machine and drier in the separate utility room - New fully equipped kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, boiling and filter water tap, microwave, Nutri-bullet, soda stream, magi-mix, hand blender, slow cooker, rice cooker, large fridge and separate large freezer - Baby and toddler plastic cutlery, plates and cups - Travel cot available - High chair and 2 booster seats - Internet TV with Virgin - Bluetooth stereo in the kitchen - Stair gates at the top of all stairs (this can be arranged at request) Configuration Ground Floor: large kitchen with breakfast bar, sofa area, kids play area and dining area (to seat 8) split between 2 levels, leading out to the garden with bi-fold doors all the way across the back of the house. Separate ‘drawing room’ with large TV, small WC, utility room 1st Floor: master bedroom with super king-size bed (blackout curtains), large kids bedroom with a bunk bed and cot (blackout curtains), family bathroom with bath, large walk-in shower and loo 2nd Floor: double room with king-size bed, kids bedroom with twin beds, travel cot and blackout blinds, shower room with loo There are lots of toys and books to suit babies and toddlers More about the garden Our garden is our pride and joy. It is very private and attracts lots of birdlife. Being west facing, it gets the evening sun. It has mature trees which provide shade for half the garden during the heat of the day. The garden also has - Outdoor area with cushions - large parasol for shade - Children's benches and tables - Comfortable lounge chairs - Swings (suitable for 1+ years) - slide - Chalkboard - BBQ - Outdoor lighting Guest access You have access to the whole property apart from a small room (which we lock) and our garage. There is off-street parking for one car and we can arrange permits (at an additional cost) if you have a second car. Other things to note We have lots of toys for babies and toddlers so are well set up for families. Please ask if you need anything, the chances are, we have it!
