The Spirit of Glacier Bay Guesthouse offers a special opportunity to to explore Gustavus and Glacier Bay National Park. Berry-picking, wildflowers, sunsets, and views of the Fairweather Mountains are available from the property, as well as a good chance of seeing wildlife. If you choose Gustavus as the home base for your Alaska adventures, nature will greet you around every corner. The space Kitchen/Dining/Living: Spacious, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and modern lighting. Fully equipped kitchen. Beds: Queen, full, and a pull-out couch (full) in the living room to fit a family of six. The pull-out is a great option for kids. Bedrooms have black-out shades to keep out the midnight sun! There are no shades in the living room. Bathooms: Full bath is off of Bedroom 1 and the 1/2 bath is off of Bedroom 2. Stairs: There are four steps up to the porches & entry doors. Decks are low but have no railing - children should be supervised. Laundry: Free washer and dryer on site. Hot water on demand system requires a wait of 1-2 minutes before the tap water gets hot.
