What if my dogs or my group wants to play in the water? ABSOLUTELY! To enter the lake you simply walk out to the flat level backyard and stroll right into the lake! Once you start into the lake it is very level and has a steady decline as you walk out. To give you an idea you can walk out 10 feet from shore and the water will only be up to your knees! Its great for pups to just walk in to cool off, play in the water or an easy way to learn how to swim! If bring your pets be aware of a small pet fee applied and to select the number of pets appropriately when making your reservation please. Guest access You will have full, uninterrupted use of the fully furnished ground floor live-in quarters. You will also have full access to the 1 acre property grounds and lake access. Other things to note Please be aware that I live upstairs so at infrequent times you may hear sounds from above but I focus on being quiet so you can enjoy your stay. Also, I have an Australian Shepard named Dixie! She is 3 years old, very sweet, friendly, full of energy and loves to swim. Recently, in February of 2024, Dixie just had a litter of puppies in which I kept one (Sadie)! There may be times that you will notice us outside exercising & playing ball/frisbee. Feel free to come join us or enjoy the outside while we are outside. Dixie will likely come greet you with a few barks and Sadie will be trotting along behind her but then Dixie will find her frisbee and bring it to you while Sadie is asking for belly rubs.
