Cozy suite on the Buckeye Trail

Welcome to the Nest, our cozy suite located on the Buckeye Trail in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Tucked away at the rear of the property with forest views, but just a short walk or drive to the Towpath Trail, CVNP trailheads & the Cuyahoga River, the suite is a hiker, biker, paddler & bird watcher's paradise Walk to restaurants, coffee, antique shops & the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in quaint Peninsula Village. Just minutes to shopping & fine dining in Historic Hudson The space STR Cert 2025-21 This is a 3 room suite in half of the lower level of our raised ranch. The suite has its own entrance & private fenced in patio with a small yard area. Please note that we occupy the main level & there is a sewing space & workshop on the other side of the lower level. You will hear footsteps, our dog Daisy occasionally barking & other sounds of everyday life in a home. The water filtration system & pump are located in the laundry area & will run occasionally as water is used. Our occupancy is limited to & best suited for 2 adults or an adult and child older than 12. Guest access You will have access to the entire suite & patio area. There is a kitchen sink available for meal cleanup located in the laundry/utility area. **The laundry machines are not available at this time. Guests who are comfortable with dogs are welcome to wander the yard & garden. There is also a firepit for guest use located on the hill in the front yard of the house. Please let us know if interested & we can provide firewood. Other things to note We’re excited to share our special place in the park with other nature lovers! We welcome guests to explore the yard & woods beyond the fence. Please be aware that we do have an older American Bulldog/Pitty mix named Daisy. She loves visitors & can be a loud & exuberant greeter, but she is a sweet & easy old lady. She has full run of the back yard & will sometimes come to investigate & say “Hi” outside the Airbnb fence if you’re on the patio. *As noted earlier & per our short term rental permit with the village, our space is small, cozy & limited to 2 adults or an adult & child 12 or older. We love children but for safety reasons, can’t accommodate those under 12. We welcome you to message if you’re traveling with an infant!
