Private room in quiet suburb

Comfy first floor bedroom with private bathroom. The room has 2 beautiful armchairs, a small table and tea/coffee making facilities. A desk & chair are provided for working at with plug spaces and usb portals. WiFi is available and there is a tv with Sky channels. The bathroom has a bath and shower for sole use of guests. Clean bedding and towels are provided. Choice of pillows is available plus extra blankets if required. There is also a hairdryer. The space The room is on the first floor of our semi detached property in Gosforth, a quiet suburb just north of Newcastle city centre. The bathroom is just across the hall. When staying with us, you will have sole access to the first floor. My husband and I live downstairs, so if you need anything at all during your stay, just let us know and we will do our best to help. The Metro is a short walk away, as is Gosforth High Street which has bars, restaurants and a shopping centre. We also have an Asda and an M&S Food shop within walking distance. There is an hourly bus service to the city centre plus a whole host of buses in and out of town up at the Metro Station. Newcastle Airport can be reached by Metro or by car/taxi as can Newcastle Central Station. The main A1/Western bypass is nearby with routes north to Northumberland and Scotland or south towards Durham, Yorkshire and on to the south of the country. If you like running, we are located near to the start of the annual Great North Run and I could offer a drop off service if required. We have two small dogs but they will stay downstairs with us. We love meeting people and are happy to share our rear garden in the evening. Guest access We will give you keys to the front doors on arrival. You can park in the driveway during your stay. You will have sole access to the first floor bedroom and bathroom. We live on the ground floor so you can contact us at any time. Please return the keys at the end of your stay. During your stay We love meeting people but will be sensitive about our guests own needs. The room is private and quiet. You can contact us at any time during your stay. We will be happy to help. If you would like to bring in food in the evening, for example, you are welcome to use our dining room downstairs. You are also welcome to use our private rear garden in the evening. The neighbourhood is very quiet, so please respect our community.
