Cronkshaw Fold Farmhouse

Hello! I am a farmer going on a rare holiday, so I am renting out my farmhouse. Bedroom set up: 1 kingsize bed room 1 double bed room 1 bed room with a cot suitable for an up to 4/5 year old. The space This is my family home. We list it on Airbnb when we're going away to help earn some extra pennies. There is a garden and also a private hot tub and hot outdoor shower overlooking the hills you can book to use for an additional charge (£35.) We are dog friendly - though dogs MUST be kept on leads while outside. Our garden is not dog proof. There is a running circle chain for you to borrow if that's helpful. We will leave this in the garden if you're bringing a pooch so you can clip them on it. There's an AMAZING childrens park 20 minutes walk down the road with a mini trampoline and a zip wire. 10 minutes down the road there is Alden Brook - the stream below the farm. There is a idyllic spot for picnicking here where children can play in the shallow stream in the shade of the trees and build mini dams (please take pictures! We love a good stream dam!) We're very concerned about climate change and are doing all we can as a farm to reduce our carbon footprint. All the furniture in the farmhouse has been upcycled or made from bits of scrap from round the farm. We try to avoid plastic as much as we can, too. We're using the money from renting out the cottage to save up for solar panels for the farm (done!) and switching the diesel farm 4x4 for an electric one. Guest access The whole cottage will be exclusively yours. If you're bringing bikes let us know and we can arrange secure undercover storage for them. We also have stables if you want to bring a horse - just check in with us about bringing a horse before you book (this incurs an additional charge) Other things to note There's no inside bath tub, only a shower in the house. There's no wifi, but there is good 4G signal (good enough to stream films etc)
