Your lakeside lot includes a fire ring with cooking grate, outdoor lighting, and water access — perfect for evening campfires and stargazing over Sunrise Lake. We’ve taken care of the essentials so you can pack light: bed linens and towels, a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, electric skillet, full place settings for 4, and a refrigerator are all ready for your arrival. For your outdoor cooking, plan to bring your preferred cookware and utensils. On cooler nights, a wall-mounted propane heater keeps the cabin warm and cozy. Guest access Fox Den Cabin sits right on the shores of Sunrise Lake, part of the privately owned Sunrise Lake Family Campground (not to be confused with the Sunrise Lake State Forest Campground nearby). As our guest, you have full access to our private beaches, paddle boats, and the peaceful lake itself. Beyond the water, you’re perfectly positioned for northern Michigan adventure. ATV and ORV riders will love our location — just across the road from 12,000 acres of state land with trails winding through the Osceola County DNR forest. Don’t have a rig? Rent one from Greater North Power Sports and Rentals in Cadillac. A DNR boat launch is right next door, so don’t forget the fishing poles. When you’re ready to explore, the charming towns of LeRoy, Evart, Cadillac, and Marion are all just a short drive away. Other things to note Come ready to truly unplug. Fox Den Cabin is nestled in a rural setting where cell service is limited and WiFi isn’t available — and for most of our guests, that’s exactly the point.
