Wappapello Lake is a wonderful place to vacation! This newly renovated space is just 1/4 mile to the lake, short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. The list of activities includes boating, hiking, swimming, fishing, atv riding, horseback riding, concerts and more! Located 20 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO where you will find a bowling alley,movie theatre, coffee shops, shopping, etc. 2-night minimum on Fri-Sat. NO PETS. NO SMOKING. The space Lake Haven l is a completely renovated open concept with a well stocked kitchen, cozy living room, fire pit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. Our cozy lake house is the perfect place to relax and create memories. Enjoy your morning coffee outside listening to the birdsong or taking a walk around enjoying the views. Just a couple minutes (1/4 mile) to Rockwood swimming beach and boat ramp, grocery store, The Camp for concerts + miniature golf, and several restaurants. The Space There are two bedrooms and one bathroom with a spacious walk-in-shower with sliding glass doors, well stocked kitchen, dinning/game table on rollers with seating for 4, comfortable leather couch and sofa perfect for a movie night with a large TV. The main bedroom has a comfortable king size mattress, dresser, luggage rack and pegs on the wall for hanging up your sunhats after a fun day on the lake. The second bedroom offers 2 twin xl beds with nightstand between and large dresser to unpack and stay awhile. If you need sleeping space for a 5th guest, we have a twin-size rollaway bed, upon request. Remember - our cabin is NON- SMOKING. If you do smoke outside away from entry doors or garage, please dispose of butts. NO PETS Please NO cleaning fish, ducks, etc. at the cabin. There is a cleaning station close to the dam on highway T. We'll be happy to show you where it's located if you have trouble finding it. Please remember to bring your own beach towels if you plan to swim. Do not use cabin bath towels for swimming. Guest access Parking is available on the property. Please do not park on the street. *Check out Lake Haven II if you need more space + want the entire property to yourself. (1 bedroom 1 bath with a kitchenette, sleeps 5+) *Discount available for booking Lake Haven I + II **Concrete patio, furniture and black-stone (if outside) in front of garage is shared by either listing. Responsible for turning off propane,cleaning properly + covering after each use. **NO parking across the street, private property. Guest access Access to Lake Haven I (left side) cozy front patio with 2 chairs if you prefer to keep to yourself, fire-pit to the left of the property with blue+ orange Adirondack chairs. Lake Haven II may be rented while you are there, so please be mindful of the quiet hours 10 pm to 8 am. There is a separate fire pits and Adirondack chairs if you wish to keep to yourself. Weather dependent IF the concrete patio with furniture, umbrella and black-stone are outside set up, they are shared between the 2 listings. **Garage is shared space if owners are staying on property the same weekend. Other things to note While we have a new unit, our HVAC company has advised us to keep the temperature at 71° or above when the AC is on. If it’s set below that temperature, the unit will constantly run and cause the lines to freeze resulting in no AC for you! So please don’t turn it below that. **** If you set the temperature below 71°, you will be responsible for the cost of any damage to the HVAC and/or service calls.*** This cabin is connected to a septic system. To ensure proper functioning, all food particles must be properly disposed of in the waste bins, only toilet paper should be placed in the toilet and the 5 person maximum capacity should be respected. Failure to comply with these guidelines could result in septic system failure and costly repairs. One rank of wood and one bag of ice is provided for your stay.
