The space As a young family ourselves we understand how important couple escapes are and also how tricky travelling with little ones can be sometimes. So let us help. Upon arrival a basket of toys and books awaits for them to enjoy as they settle in. Tea and coffee will be stocked for that first cuppa after your journey. If you need it, we have a high chair, potty, toilet seat and step available. Children’s cutlery, plates, bowls and cups at the ready for ease of feeding hungry mouths. We want you to enjoy your holiday, spending more time with your friends or family rather than worrying out all the kit! If you’ve not got kids, this house too is perfect for a couple or friends to relax and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of Woodbury. So come on in and step into this bright, light and airy home down the hall and into the beautiful open plan kitchen diner. Enjoy your meals around the dining table sat by the glass doors looking out onto the south facing garden. On those sunny days open the doors right up for free flow living into the garden. The bright kitchen, complete with microwave, oven, 4 point electric hob and dishwasher. It’s well stocked and fully equipped for social and family meals together. Plenty of serving dishes and platters and a classic white WedgeWood tea set. An essentials starter kit included with washing up liquid, sponge and dishwasher tablets. The living room, also with patio doors, has two comfy sofas to relax down in on, cushions and cosy blankets. Up two steps is the utility room with both front and back access. Handy for when you’ve had a day out exploring for your muddy, wet, sandy things! Good storage space for buggies, bikes, coats, shoes and beach bits. Downstairs WC also by the front door. Up the stairs you’ll find a central rectangular landing with all rooms stemming off. The Master bedroom (Bedroom 1) hosts a King bed, with viewings into the garden and to the side, the church. Complete with private en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2, (purple room) similar size to the Master, light with a window onto the garden. This can either be set up as two single beds (2ft 6) or ziplinked for a King bed. Bedroom 3, (blue room) is a smaller room facing front. It has a raised area (85cm) that can be a toddler bed (bed guard and steps available). Or this can be left for a cosy story time and snuggle area. Alternatively a single bed (can be moved from purple room, leaving the other single) can be put in here. Bedroom 4, is a small office space with a sky light window. There is no bed in this room. A family bathroom with retractable shower screen. There is also a well pressured shower over the bath for those who prefer. Please note we provide bath mats, hand towels and tea towels but not bath towels. Please bring these with you. Outside, the garden is a sun trap with a beautiful rare view of the church and the large oak that stands on the village green 200m behind the house. On Sundays you can hear the church bells chime. The garden is mature with various flowers and shrubs growing throughout the summer and the precious stunning 30 year old rose lines the back of the house. There is a large decking, with a wooden dining table and chairs (note this is different to photos). Two additional reclining chairs to lie back on and enjoy the views and the tranquility that Woodbury offers. There is an artificial lawn surrounded by sleepers and flower beds. To the front of the house, there are 4 parking spaces available. Plenty of space and flexibility for coming and going. You can step inside from either the front door or the utility door to the left. There is also side access round to the garden to the right.
