We find that leaving the bedroom doors opened upstairs and closing windows and blinds during the day helps for the occasional warm summer day. Also, having windows open upstairs in the evening is another great choice for cool breeze. We do our best to prevent insects from getting into the house but the house is older and in a rural setting. You may see an occasional ant or spider, go ahead and kill it or capture it and take outside. Please inform us if there is more than an occasional insect in the house We have portable folding table, chairs and cute table cloth in the basement for your use upstairs so everyone can dine together and enjoy meals together.
