Other things to note The place is located on Tverrdalsøya which has a mainland connection, postal address Staubø in the more famous Kilsund in Arendal municipality. The place is located right on the municipal border of Tvedestrand. There are good ferry connections from Tvedestrand and Gjeving on the mainland to the idyllic islands such as the well-known idyllic Lyngør, Sandøya and Furøya. There is a mainland connection to beautiful Borøya with its many beautiful coastal trails. Otherwise, there are short driving distances to southern towns such as Risør, Tvedestrand, Arendal, Grimstad, Lillesand and Kristiansand, which are like pearls on a string. The well-known zoo in Kristiansand is 1 hour drive away and the Little Zoo on Brokelandsheia 45 min drive. The scenic Tromøya is also only 40 min drive away with its beautiful pebble beaches and is part of Raet National Park. There is also a fun climbing park.
