The place is located right on the municipal border of Tvedestrand. There are good ferry connections from Tvedestrand and Gjeving on the mainland to the idyllic islands such as the well-known idyllic Lyngør, Sandøya and Furøya. There is a mainland connection to beautiful Borøya with its many beautiful coastal trails. Otherwise, there are short driving distances to southern towns such as Risør, Tvedestrand, Arendal, Grimstad, Lillesand and Kristiansand, which are like pearls on a string. The well-known zoo in Kristiansand is 1 hour drive away and the Little Zoo on Brokelandsheia 45 min drive.
