Mornings lend themselves to slow coffees at the table, afternoons drift by with a book or a gentle wander into town, and evenings are best spent curled up on the velvet sofa with a glass of wine as the house quietly wraps around you. Moving through to the dining room, you’ll find a space designed for connection — whether sharing a meal, playing a board game, or simply enjoying unhurried conversation. Each room has been thoughtfully styled to feel both special and familiar, encouraging guests to settle in and feel at ease. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use, with quality essentials waiting for your arrival, so you can relax from the moment you arrive. Whether preparing breakfast or a simple dinner, everything has been considered for comfort and ease. When it’s time to rest, the bedrooms offer hotel-quality comfort, with premium linens, soft lighting, and a peaceful atmosphere that encourages deep, uninterrupted sleep. The cottage features a beautifully appointed main bathroom, complete with plush towels and luxurious Al.ive hair and body products, along with the added convenience of a second toilet located in the laundry, where guests will also find a washing machine and dryer for use during their stay. Guest access Guests enjoy private access to the entire home, including: • Two bedrooms • Fully equipped farmhouse kitchen • Living room with Smart TV • Bathroom with luxury amenities • Laundry with washer & dryer • Rear deck with heater & soft lighting • Front verandah with garden views • Free on-site parking Other things to note *There are no TVs in either bedroom to foster a more serene environment. There is however a Samsung QLED Flat Screen Smart TV, which provides guests with all free to air channels, YouTube (great for movies for all ages), 7+ and 9Now. Netflix, Stan, Prime & Apple TV are available using your own account sign in details. Please remember to delete them on checking out. •The cottage is specifically furnished for up to four adults; extra guests are not permitted, under any circumstances, to maintain quality and comfort. * We are delighted to welcome children of all ages, and love when families choose our cottage for their stay. With little ones around, we kindly ask that they be supervised so we can keep everything fresh and beautiful for all our guests to enjoy. Inside, the cottage has been thoughtfully set up to create a calm, comfortable environment, and many guests comment on how peaceful and restful their stay feels once inside. As our consistent reviews reflect, guests have found Cottage on Dickson to be a peaceful retreat and have never expressed any concerns about noise impacting their stay. Important to note: For insurance and property security purposes when vacant, a Ring doorbell camera is installed at the front and rear entrances. The devices detect motion and provides brief notifications, which are reviewed ONLY TO CONFIRM GUEST ARRIVAL.
