Our cozy home is located in an idyllic village in the Finnish archipelago. It's a two story house - the upstairs (main bedroom) being one big open space with a lovely view straight from the bed! The house is newly renovated by the artist owner and has its own private yard and separate sauna. In summer there is a fine dining restaurant and a high quality outdoor art exhibition and the sea just a few hundred meters from the house. Not for parties. The space - The house is best suitable for a couple, a small family or two couples. Can fit 4 adults comfortably, plus there is a small foldout mattress that is best suited for a child. Let us know if you’d prefer two single blankets or a double blanket in the upstairs bedroom. Upstairs bed has a mosquito net in case guests want to sleep with the door open, listening to the birds outside. - Kitchen has an oven and two induction cooktops. No dishwasher or microwave. At the moment we only have a coffee plunger and a ceramic coffee filter for making coffee. - Please note that the indoor toilet is a composting toilet. Please read and follow instructions on how to use it (available in house manual and upon arrival). This is very important. - Sauna (wood fired) available on request. The guests heat the sauna themselves, it takes about an hour to be warm. Please limit the use of sauna to one time/stay because of the amount of firewood needed. - Unfortunately we don’t have a lot of space for storage so there might not be a separate spot to put your clothes on a shelf etc. Guest access All house is available to use but please note that this is our home and so our personal things and clothes are in the wardrobes etc. Other things to note - We do not charge a cleaning fee and therefore expect the house to be left clean and tidy, dishes done etc. - Bedding and bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels if you are planning on going to the beach. - Hot tub in the picture isn’t available to heat unless separately agreed upon. It is at times filled with cold water to be able to have a dip to cool down from the sauna. Please check if you wish to use it.
