"Grey Goose"—Vintage Airstream

Vintage remodeled Airstream (permanently parked) for a cozy getaway. Great place to retreat from the city and enjoy time in the country. Sit on the deck with your coffee or tea overlooking a peaceful private lake. 15 minutes to Lake Fork if you fancy fishing on one of the premier bass lakes in Texas; 30 minutes to First Monday Trade Days in Canton; about two hours east of Dallas; 45 minutes north of Tyler. And you'll find quaint antique shops and good food in Mineola, just up the road. The space Welcome to our beautiful lakeside vintage Airstream, Grey Goose (If you're curious about the name, we're happy to tell you. It has NOTHING to do with the vodka!😊). Enjoy the beautiful sunsets while drinking your coffee, tea, or wine on the deck. Grey Goose is fully remodeled and ready for you—where you can relax and enjoy your time in east Texas. Coffee & tea bar; comfy double bed (& a single bed if needed); kitchenette with microwave, fridge, 1 burner hot plate; pots & pans, toaster. Fully equipped bathroom with shower, small tub, towels, and regular toilet (not typical RV toilet). On-demand water heater for hot showers. Our animals are friendly and love people, so don't let the loud bark of Jackson, our Border Collie/Aussie mutt, scare you if he happens to be outside when you arrive. If he is, he'll greet you with a wagging tail looking for attention. He's super friendly and thinks he's a lap dog. He may stop by to say "Hi" but we'll make sure he doesn't become a nuisance. We also have a friendly cat, Chloe. She's usually in our house, but you may also see her snooping around. She loves to be anywhere humans are. Our animals have not been in the Airstream, so if you have allergies, you should be fine. Our house is about 800 feet or so from Grey Goose. We respect your privacy while you're here, but we aren't far away if you need anything. Guest access Everything in the fridge or on the shelves is yours to enjoy. ☺️ Also, if you need to back in with a boat, parking is available. Just let us know when you make the reservation so we'll be around to help you if needed. Other things to note Fishing: All guests (including our own family or friend guests) are asked to sign a release form/waiver by our lake association if you plan to fish from the shore or the dock—or even put your feet in the water. Waivers will be provided at check-in on the table in the camper. Our dock/barge can be accessed from the trail that begins in front of the Airstream. If you need a place to get some work done, we can transform the coffee bar into a dedicated workspace. Just let us know and we'll rearrange the space—and the coffee will still be close by.
