Description
Greenhill is a beautifully renovated 19th century cosy cottage offering the perfect blend of character and modern comfort. Finished to an exceptional standard, the cottage enjoys views over fields to the church, with the much-loved Fortescue Arms pub just a short stroll down the lane. You are ten mins drive from Kingsbridge and in easy reach of award-winning beaches such as Bantham or Blackpool Sands. It’s an easy drive to Salcombe, Dartmouth or inland to Dartmoor. Great for walking the SWCP The space We have a cosy living room with Smart TV and wood burner. A door leads from the living room to an open plan refitted kitchen with dining area and a back door leading to a pretty enclosed back garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. The under-counter fridge has a small freezer box and there is a dish washer. Upstairs the main bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage, facing the front overlooking fields, where cows graze during the summer months. The back bedroom has two single wrought iron beds and views across the valley. The bathroom has a cast iron bath and an electric shower. There is a porch to store muddy boots and beach paraphernalia and also an outhouse at the bottom of the garden where you will find beach chairs, windbreak and crab lines for your use. A washing line is provided for beach towel/wetsuit drying. At the front of the cottage is a south facing peaceful enclosed courtyard, which overlooks fields to the church of St Andrew’s. Guest access The whole house is for your use. Other things to note There is no charging facility for an electric car.
