Apartment in Grand Rapids (Dog & Kid Friendly)

Welcome! This 2nd floor apartment is in Uptown- steps from the Farmers Marker, walking distance to Easttown and less than 2 miles from downtown. Enter into a shared entry way & head up the stairs to your space. Upstairs will be your private bedroom, kitchenette (NO oven), bathroom with clawfoot tub, spacious living room & dining room. We live downstairs. Dogs and kids are onsite :) The house is in the city so there are daily and nightly “city” noises Message me for questions. The space Main Bedroom: Queen Bed, Dresser, Closet with hangers, Extra Pillows & Blankets plus Pack n’ Play Bathroom: Bathtub & Shower, Towels /Washcloths, Hair Dryer & First Aid Kit, Shampoo. Additional bathroom amenities are provided if you forgot (toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, etc) Living Room: NEW Smart TV, (you can login to Netflix or Amazon Videos), Small Couch Family/Sitting Room: Desk and Office Chair, Couch & Chair, Board Games & Books Dining Room: 4 Person Dining Room Table Kitchen: Dishware, Toaster Oven, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Pot, Tea Kettle, Toaster (note: NO stove) My office is located on the 2nd floor so I may need access occasionally. I will communicate with you before I go upstairs. Guest access The entire second floor is available for your use. The city of Grand Rapids law states that all Airbnbs must be “Owner-Occupancy:The residence must be owner-occupied, meaning the homeowner must live on the property while renting out a room.” This space is certified by the city so due to this law, there’s only a lock on the front door (accessible from both ways) and only a lock upstairs on the inside. My office and attic is on the same floor so occasionally need access. Other things to note Feel free to leave your shoes & coat in the entry way or leave them upstairs with you. Like mentioned earlier, you may hear my dog bark when you come into the house; she will be behind the gate/door. She is very friendly and loves attention. You may see or hear her running around. Let me know if you are bringing your dog. There isn’t a shared backyard for dogs but it’s a great walking area. I also have a dog crate available if needed. The space is on the 2nd floor. Parking. It’s city parking but it’s free. Parking is available on both sides of the street. You may need to park a house or two down but it’s always been close Like mentioned earlier, my office is on the 2nd floor and I may/will need access to it during your stay.
