This is not a brand-new luxury hotel, and the home absolutely has its quirks and character that come with age, but as you’ll read throughout the reviews, the vibe here is something truly special. Built elevated above the street and fully fenced for privacy, the property has a peacefulness that often makes guests forget they’re still in Los Angeles. Mornings begin with the sounds of birds outside the windows, afternoons are spent with the sun pouring perfectly over the pool and lounge chairs, and golden hour fills the living room with the kind of warm light that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The home was designed to feel lived in, relaxed, and welcoming — with a large kitchen made for cooking meals, mixing drinks, and making memories together. At night, cozy up in the oversized king bed after a long day exploring the city. This isn’t the Four Seasons. It’s something more personal. Those with mobility issues should consider this before booking.* Other things to note **I wanted to address some past reviews as I am getting some questions about the bathroom being attached to the house. This listing still has reviews left from the last airbnb I hosted. That was a smaller unit, in-law apartment I hosted. The current space is a house with 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining/living room and 2 bedrooms, pool and hot tub. Plenty of outdoor space and an outdoor shower for your post pool dips! Please feel free to ask me any questions! Thanks!** There won’t be anyone else living on the property during your stay. There is a detached garage you may notice in the photos — it’s occasionally used during business hours by my brother (the homeowner) as a quiet office space. It has its own separate entrance, so you likely won’t even notice he’s there, if he stops by at all.
