Norman house (130 m²) in the heart of the Risle valley, between Brionne and Beaumont-Le-Roger with a private garden of 1000 m². Serquigny station 1 km away, regular trains to Paris, Deauville, Caen, Rouen. Located in the heart of nature (meadow, horses, goats, woods) on a NATURA 2000 site, in an old agricultural estate, now a hamlet, close to a river and ponds. Suitable for children, enclosed land set back from the road. The space The house we offer is a family property that belonged to Marc's grandparents. After traveling all over France and abroad for work, they decided to settle in this small Norman hamlet that they knew well from having lived there during their childhood. Anxious to preserve this family heritage, we decided to restore this estate to make it available to our guests who will appreciate the calm and serenity of this place full of memories. This Norman half-timbered house has a large living room area on the ground floor, an equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, city gas stove, microwave). Upstairs you will enjoy a cocooning area (office/game room with extra bed for 1 person, library, television) in addition to the 3 bedrooms that we have furnished with double beds for more comfort. A child-friendly room offers good spaces to play. Bathroom with shower and sink (toilet in the same room). Central heating with city gas. Childcare equipment loans on request - stroller, baby carrier, etc. (contact us). The outdoor spaces are private: large garden with apple trees, plum tree, quince tree, vine and tomato plants. In front of the house is a meadow with animals: goats, horses, pony and chickens. Our property, with its many green spaces, is registered as an LPO Refuge. On site, you can enjoy local honey and egg production. If our guests wish to stretch their legs, they can enjoy nature sports such as hiking, mountain biking in the forest or cycling on greenways - Risle Valley, Evreux/Le-Bec-Helloin route (bicycles available) - but also fishing (inquire with the local fishing association). If they wish to discover the cultural heritage of our region, and its landscaped natural spaces, they can visit the Abbey of Notre Dame du Bec in Bec-Hellouin, the Abbey of Notre Dame de Bernay, the medieval estate of Harcourt, its gardens and arboretum, the Château des Gourmands and the vegetable gardens of Beaumesnil/Mesnil-en-Ouche, the Priory of the Holy Trinity of Beaumont-Le-Roger, the Château du Champs de Bataille and its gardens in Sainte-Opportune-du-Bosc, the park of the Château de Fontaine-La-Soret in Nassandres-Sur-Risle, the Museum of Fine Arts of Bernay, the Cider Museum of Mesnil-en-Ouche, as well as the organic permaculture farm of Bec-Hellouin. Our visitors can also go on excursions to the sea (Honfleur and Deauville) or Rouen (45 minutes). Access to Paris is easy by train from Serquigny station (nearby) or Bernay (12 km). Finally, if our guests have gourmet desires, the many restaurants nearby will be happy to welcome them, as well as the local producers labeled "Welcome to the farm". Tourist documentation is available in the gîte, but we advise you to visit the tourist offices of the region for your more precise searches (in Bernay, Baumont-Le-Roger, Le Neubourg, Brionne, Mesnil-en-Ouche).
