Located in the heart of ranching country, this cosy ranch-house welcomes your family and friends with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. This historic cabin was built in 1905. The property is surrounded with public land which is home to mule deer, elk, antelope, moose and other wildlife. It is close to the Colorado border too. Bring your horse, bike fishing rod or four wheeler and explore miles of back roads. You can also fish in the river or explore any of the many historical areas nearby. The space NOTICE: The area (as well as the west in general) is experiencing a drought so, PLEASE PRACTICE WATER CONSERVATION when you are in the house. If you were to run out of water, I will haul water for you and it will run through the system like normal. This is an historic ranch house built in 1905 out of native sandstone and pine logs. It is not fancy but has a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. There are 5 bedrooms and a fold-out couch in the living room. The house can sleep 10-12 plus there are some sleeping pads for kids. Guest access Guests have the entire house to themselves. There is ample parking for trailers or campers. The property is bordered by lots of public land as well as some private neighbors. Please be aware of private land and respect the landowners. Other things to note This is an area which is great for exploration; historic locations, museums, National Forest, desert, lake, river, wild horses, ranches, birding, fishing, hunting, wildlife photography, mountain biking.
