“The Blue Hotel” - Retreat in the heart of Detroit

Nicknamed The Blue Hotel by a little kid who stayed here. It's a relaxing place to reset after exploring all that the city has to offer. It's an easy 15 minute walk to many shops, restaurants (Supino's, Oak&Reel, Baobab Fare, etc.), bars (Kiesling, Dragon Fly, Time Will Tell, etc.), parks and the streetcar (Q Line). Public Transportation is readily accessible if you don't feel like driving or paying to park downtown. The space The apartment comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has two bedrooms both with queen beds. The living room features a couch bed (full size) that has blackout curtains if there is a need to accommodate additional adults or children. There is a large couch if there is a need for a 7th person to stay. The living room features the smart tv that is adjustable for those who sleep in the "fort" or for whoever wants to snuggle on the large couch. The tv comes preloaded with Amazon Prime, Max, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, etc. This room features a couch (80 3/4 inches or 105 cm), as well as the full size couch bed. The dining room has seating for 6 people with additional chairs around the apartment. The front porch is comfortable to relax on and look out on the front yard that has an edible garden. I really love this neighborhood and Detroit. I live up stairs and am available if needed. Important: - If you smoke inside a $75 a cleaning fee will be assessed. - If you stay longer than 21 days an additional cleaning fee of $75 will be requested through the app. -If you stay 28 days or more you’re responsible for toilet paper, paper towel, laundry and dish detergent after the initial supply is gone. Guest access Guests have access to the front porch, front yard and garden. If guests need access to the laundry it is in the basement and it is shared with us.
