Welcome to The Britannia! Time to get away and relax. This off grid tiny house is nestled in the peaceful countryside, and is the definition of relaxation. Relax in a queen sized bed, enjoy a coffee with the convenience of a butane stove and BBQ a delicious meal for the evening! Off grid charging for your electronics and running water in the kitchen. We have a dog on the property, her name is Rosa and she will likely come and say hi. The space Tucked away at the back of the property, our tiny house, The Britannia, sits behind the tower silo overlooking the vast fields. With ample space to park your vehicle, follow the winding path, lit with solar lights, to the tiny house. The kitchen has a sink with running water, no hot water. There is a one burner stove and all your basic needs from plates, glasses, pots and pans. Coffee, sugar and tea are supplied so you can just sit back and relax. Note that there is no fridge or wifi. The bedroom boosts a very comfortable queen sized bed with views over the fields and perfect for sunsets. The bathroom consists of the small vanity with towels and a composting toilet. The outdoor shower is right beside the tinyhouse. Enjoy your evenings sitting outside listening to the birds and watching the wildlife, while having a delicious BBQ. Close to a small grocery shop and LCBO, Bare Necessities in Fordwich, just 5 mins away. The main grocery stores in Listowel are 15mins away. Blyth Music Festival is 30mins away. Excellent hiking trails nearby that are a short drive away. Check out the guidebook! Guest access Feel free to explore the back property and forest. There are no made trails in the forest but walking is open and easy. We ask that you refrain from walking around the sheds by the main house as they are private. Other things to note Just a gentle reminder that there is no fridge. You will need to boil some water to clean the dishes. We have a dog on the property named Rosa.
