Relax with the whole family in this uniquely peaceful and quiet accommodation: Large cozy Walser house in Inner-Praden for 7 people. Child-friendly and minutes away from Tschiertschen. By car: There is a public parking lot in the village of Praden, 500 m from the house. In Tschiertschen there is a free ski bus in winter. By public transport: You can reach the bus stop in just one minute. In winter, the bus ride between Praden/Tschiertschen is free. The space The house has a parlor and a small parlor on the ground floor. A kitchen-living room with a large table, two benches and two chairs. To the left and right of the kitchenette is the toilet or shower. Both can be closed with a sliding door. On the upper floor there are 4 bedrooms: 1x double bed 2x two single beds 1 x 140 x 200 cm bed In the corridor between the rooms there is a sink with mirror and two exits to the arbors. One large with laundry lines, the other with a toilet. However, this cannot be used in winter (due to frost in the water pipe). There are books and board games, card games and puzzles. For children, there are toys, books and things to paint. Guest access The house is only within walking distance from the street/bus stop. There is a parking space for loading and unloading. From there, you have to go up between the houses and turn left after the second house with red shutters. About 50 m to walk each. The path is over the meadow and not accessible with a wheelchair (only possible with assistance). The house is not barrier-free. You must park in the public parking lot in Tobel. That's about 500 meters from the house. Parking is free. Other things to note Important to know: - There is no dishwasher - The refrigerator is medium size, with a small freezer compartment - No Wi-Fi But as with Heidi and the goat Peter: The house dates back to 1850. As a result, it is heated with wood, among other things (in addition, it has an oil stove that runs with a thermostat (automatically)). On the upper floor there is no heating, but a portable radiant heater for the two cooler rooms. Inner-Praden is an old Walser village. There is no shop and no restaurant (anymore). But there is a church and a small playground at the kindergarten. The house is a beautiful, listed Walser house. It is located at 1200 meters above sea level, quiet and in the cloudless nights you can see a lot of stars. A gem for all the people who are looking to slow down and appreciate old customs. The kitchen is modern and has (almost) everything you need. The garden surrounding the house has various seating options and two tables. This way you can linger outdoors depending on the position of the sun. Climate change can also be felt in the Tschiertschen ski resort (10 min. from Praden). The deep snowy winters and the cooler summer evenings have adapted to this. There are many ski resorts nearby with more snow and in summer various cozy or more active bathing resorts. In short, about the surroundings: Chur can be reached in about 15 minutes by post bus or car. Flims, Laax, Lenzerheide, Arosa and Davos can be reached in 0.5-1.5 hours. In Tschiertschen there is a village shop, a bazaar and various farm shops. Also a post office, a sports shop, hairdressers, restaurants, hotels with spa, ice rink, art exhibitions in Aux Losanges and much more. A wide range of summer and winter hiking trails. Dogs and other pets by arrangement.
