Large Cabin/Recanto da Mata Eco-Friendly Inn

Cabin for 4 people or more (12 places) in the middle of the forest with a crystal clear river that is inside the inn. Space outside to make a fire and contemplate the stars and sounds of the forest. Kitchen with utensils, internal bathroom, at the top of the house there is an extra toilet, eight single beds and a double bed (We do not provide bed linen). In the living room there is a table with chairs and a fireplace. Surrounded by mountains, rivers and waterfalls, it is 30 km from the sea and is "neighbor" to indigenous reserves. Since 1999, we have been working with ecotourism and bioconstruction, pioneering the way in the municipality. We develop low environmental impact structures by recreating small systems of bioconstructive technologies through buildings scattered around the site, such as a compostable toilet, a living roof, rainwater harvesting, a shower with a coil, ponds for wastewater treatment, a biodigester to generate natural gas, ecological landscaping, agroforestry systems, bioconstructed huts and invented machines that do not require electricity. Since 2002, we have been receiving people from all over the world interested in becoming aware of environmental problems, providing them with an experience of integration with the environment. Every detail of the site was designed with the intention of not harming the environment, through art, permaculture and bioconstruction, enhancing the sustainable development of local tourism and proving in daily practice that another world is possible.
