Description
Welcome to the Acadian village of Larry's River. Our 1840 Homestead accommodation is on a groomed dirt road following the river. A short walk leads to a rock beach at Tor Bay. Just steps away you have direct use of the 100 year old historic footbridge. You can cross the footbridge, to the playground and onward to St. Peter's church. Across the street from the church is le Parc de Nos Ancêtres - a series of rocks painted depicting the expulsion and return history of our Acadian ancestors. The space Our front deck provides a broad vista of the river, the historic footbridge, church and community. On the scenic front watch the sun rise and warm you while relaxing with a morning brew and late watch it set as it often showcases vibrant sunset displays of colour. Cross our small gravel road that separates The Homestead from the river and take the path, for a few steps, directly to the river where you can launch your kaiak, canoe, row boat or paddle-board onto the river. Guest access Entire house is available for use. Registration Details RYA-2023-24-04051507241072637-83
