The space The property is located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Bamberg and combines proximity to nature with good connections to the historic old town. A bus stop is only a few minutes' walk away, and a reserved parking space is available directly opposite the house. The cozy loft apartment surprises with an amazing amount of daylight and has direct access to the terrace and garden. The terrace gives you direct access to the garden – perfect for a morning coffee or to wind down after an eventful day. The garden can also be used as a separate entrance. Fields, walking and cycling trails start right outside the front door – ideal for relaxed outings into nature or bike tours through the region. You can easily reach Bamberg's Old Town on foot or by bus. For a good night's sleep, the windows can be darkened with electric Roman blinds and curtains. The bathroom with a separate toilet has its very own vintage charm from the 1970s. The sauna in the house can be booked flexibly on site for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a completely renovated building with modern thermal insulation and controlled ventilation for a pleasant indoor climate. The well-equipped kitchenette has two hotplates, a combi microwave oven, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Amenities include one bed (180 × 200 cm), another bed (140 × 200 cm), a desk with a work chair, a dining area with a glass table and two chairs, a cozy wing chair, a wardrobe, and a closet. My favorite places in the area 🏰 Altenburg The Altenburg is one of the landmarks of Bamberg and is easily reachable on foot from the property. The climb is rewarded with a magnificent view over the rooftops of the city. The morning and evening hours are particularly beautiful. There is a Franconian restaurant directly on the Altenburg. In summer, the beer garden invites you to linger with views over Bamberg. 🚲 Bicycle tours & excursions Dirt roads and quiet cycling routes start right outside the front door. Bamberg is an ideal starting point for cycling trips. Franconian Tuscany Gentle hills, small villages and magnificent views characterize this region. Seehof Castle in Memmelsdorf with its beautiful park is particularly worth seeing. Steigerwald The Steigerwald offers numerous cycling and hiking routes through one of the largest forest landscapes in Franconia. After opening the front door, the staircase leads directly to the apartment in the lower part of the house. The apartment door is on the right side. A remote control is available for the exterior and stairwell lighting. It is located in the entrance area, to the right of the apartment door. The bathroom and toilet are operated normally via the light switches. The garden door can also be used as a separate entrance. The bicycles can be safely stored on the enclosed terrace. Other things to note There is a charge of €30 per use for the sauna. A usage period is 4 hours.
