Log cabin - Gullenhütte

Our Alm is located in a secluded location at an altitude of 1,240 m and can be reached from the village in summer by car in about 10 minutes and on foot in about 45 minutes. Outdoors, we also offer a sauna and a 180 cm bathing barrel (tub). Both are heated with wood. Only bookings from guests who are at least 25 years of age, since we unfortunately had to have very bad experiences with younger guests several times. The space Our Alm is in a secluded location and can be reached from the village by car in about 10 minutes and on foot in about 45 minutes. The mountain station or the restaurant Koppeneck and the Ochsenhütte are within approx. 1 hour walk. Under the gondola lift there is a 2.8 km long summer toboggan run that takes you to the valley at about 40 km/h. No smoking is allowed throughout the hut, outside this is of course permitted. Various hiking trails are available. From here, you can also reach Europe's highest monastery, Maria Waldrast (approx. 1.5 hours). A nice hike to the 2800 m high Serles (also called the altar of Tyrol) at sunrise is worth an experience. Walking time from the cabin is about 4.5 hours. Outdoors, we also offer a sauna and a 180 cm large hot tub. Both are heated with wood. In the village there are: a doctor, grocery store, butcher and a gas station. The state capital of Innsbruck can be reached from the village in about 20 minutes by car. The hut is supplied with drinking water from its own source. No smoking inside the entire cabin, outside this is of course allowed. The hot tub (tub) is also filled with this fresh water depending on use (no treated water!!). Filling or heating the water (about 3000 l) takes about 5 - 6 hours and is charged at €20 each. The water comes out at approx. 4°C from inside the mountain. Only bookings from guests who are at least 25 years of age are accepted, since unfortunately we have had very bad experiences with younger guests several times. Guest access Our guests can use the cottage (depending on how many guests rent) all alone - the entire cottage! Other things to note Information for the winter: Our alpine pasture is in a secluded location and is about 200 m from the ski slope and you can ski or toboggan directly to and from the hut in good snow conditions. It is within walking distance in winter via the toboggan run. In winter, guests cannot drive to the hut with their own car. We bring our guests to the Alm on arrival day with their luggage, and at the end of your holiday we will of course pick you up again. Arrival and departure should be no later than 8:45 am, as the Serlesbahn is in operation from 9:00 am, and thus also the toboggan run. In summer, our guests can drive to the hut with their own car, for which they get a driving permit, no matter what time of day or night. Other things to note ° The local tax is not yet included in the price and will be collected on site in cash (€4.80 per night per person over 16 years)! ° If you come via the highway, you have to pay tolls - € 4 per route, as well as a vignette. But you can also drive on the federal highway without a toll - VERY reminiscent of old times.
