Pretty, Private Shepherd Hut near Ledbury

Basic but charming shepherd hut with double bed, in small orchard in a secluded, peaceful spot. Set in 20 acres on an old farm, surrounded by arable fields in the vale of the river Leadon. You will enjoy peace & tranquillity with sole use of our compost toilet, outdoor hot shower, firepit, and picnic table. Breakfast can be provided at an extra cost. Wonderful countryside for cycling and walking, just outside the lovely market town of Ledbury and the Malvern Hills Natural Landscapes The space The shepherd hut is situated in an old orchard a field away from the river. It is quiet and private. Our family live in the farmhouse and you may see us working in the garden or tending to our chickens. We are on hand should you need anything or have questions but we will respect your privacy throughout your stay. Ledbury is a 5 minute drive away. Alternatively, a 15 minute cycle by road or a 40 minute walk across fields on the public footpath. There are lots of wonderful places to visit nearby and I have listed some of our favourites in my guidebook. We love to recommend places and walks so please feel free to ask! Guest access On arrival please press the buzzer at the gate. As you drive in please follow the driveway, bearing to the left of the barns. As you reach the front of the farmhouse, turn left at turning circle/front lawn and park next to the doorway to the left of the house. We will be there to greet you and show you the way to walk through to the hut. The area is grass and can be slippery if weather is wet, so practical shoes are recommended. Once you have arrived we will give you a phone number that you can use to open & close the electric gate during your stay. Other things to note Our farmhouse is an ongoing renovation project and as such, not a perfect, finished property! We hope you will enjoy the gardens and the setting.
