Family house in the hills near Otavalo

Casa Chimborazo is a family house recommended for families and friends. With spectacular views of the Imbabura and Cotacachi volcanoes, the house upstairs has 2 adjoining bedrooms each with balconies, and downstairs kitchen & living room with fireplace. The house is in the grounds of the Hosteria Rose Cottage country hotel, and guests can freely enjoy the garden, tennis court & child play area. For a charge guests can also book to use the restaurant & jacuzzi, or go for a ride on the horses. The space Casa Chimborazo is a separate family house situated close to the car park at the entrance to our site. It is one of 7 buildings spread over our site in which we offer hotel accommodation in our peaceful and beautiful location. Hosteria Rose Cottage is a 3 star country hotel in which 2 of the houses are offered for rent on a self catering basis through Airbnb. The house is located at 2800 metres and is 3km outside Otavalo on the road to the Mojanda Lakes. It is a 30 minute walk from the picturesque Taxopamba waterfall, and the Mojanda Lakes are a half hours drive further uphill. We can arrange airport pickup from Quito's airport at a cost of $60, it is 1.5 to 2 hours drive away depending on the traffic. Guest access Besides the spectacular scenery we offer a tennis court, horseriding, a jacuzzi, children's games and pingpong. Nearby we have Otavalo's famous market, the biggest in South America. A public bus passes the hotel every 40 minutes in daytime to take guests to and from Otavalo, 3 km downhill. We can arrange airport pickup from Quito's airport at a cost of $60, it is 1.5 to 2 hours drive away depending on the traffic. Other things to note Well behaved dogs are welcome subject to an extra charge of $5. The jacuzzi needs to be booked a day in advance and is free of charge for guests that stay for 2 nights, otherwise $15 per use.
