Description
Welcome to our 2 bedroom beachfront cabin that offers spectacular mountain, sunset, and wildlife views on the quiet side of Hood Canal. We have a 2-person kayak and 2 single kayaks, a covered outdoor seating with a fire table, BBQ and fire pit. Inside is a coffee bar, 5G internet, Roku t.v., propane fireplace, remodeled bathroom with a large rain shower head, new flooring, stainless appliances, tasteful decorations, and as mentioned before, the fabulous views. You won't want to leave. The space Our guests have 2 ample sized parking spaces right behind the cabin. The area next to the neighbors’ gray garage belongs to them. There is shared access to our private beach below the cabin, so feel free to enjoy. The neighbors' beaches are privately owned and trespassing is not allowed. That said, guests can walk for miles along the road in either direction. If you continue north for about a half mile, there is a public park called Menard's Landing to enjoy. You can throw the ball or stick for your dog, enjoy the views, go swimming in the inlet, cross the river, or sit in the sun & watch the action. There are lots of birds & often at a very low tide, people clamming on the spit. You do need a permit for clamming or collecting oysters out there. Apparently, the fine for NOT having a permit is hefty. Guest access Guests have full access to the 2 parking spots directly behind the cabin, front yard, covered deck, outside deck, and beach front w/oysters. The back yard and stairs to the water is shared with our neighbor, so please respect their privacy by avoiding the back yard. Other things to note Unfortunately the house and yard are not handicap friendly due to stairs.
