The Building & Vibe The palazzo is a vibrant cultural hub: it houses a museum on the ground floor and is a favorite residence for many international students. Atmosphere: With 40 apartments in the building, the common areas are lively and cosmopolitan. While your studio is a private, soundproofed retreat, you will feel the authentic energy of a historic Florentine building. Access: There is an elevator, but please note there are 4 small steps to reach the apartment entrance or 8 to clim depending on which way your prefer to take. The apartment overlooks the vibrant Borgo Albizi, one of the city's most iconic streets. IMPORTANT NOTICE & HOUSE RULES: Tourist Tax: The City of Florence requires a tourist tax of €6 per person, per night (up to 7 nights). Children under 12 are exempt. This will be managed directly through your booking for short rent but on Long term stay need to be calculated extra. Sofa Bed (140x190 cm): If your group is 4 people or fewer and you wish to use the sofa bed, an extra fee of €25 applies for additional linens and setup. Long-Term Stays (30+ nights): Contract & Tax: Italian law requires a formal lease registration. The registration tax (2% of the total stay) is an additional cost shared 50/50 between host and guest. Payment: This fee can be paid via bank transfer or through the Airbnb "Resolution Center" as an extra service.
