The Fremantle Sabbatical Retreat is offered as a min 90 day stay, for 2 people. For larger groups, see our sister property, The Fremantle House. Owned and built by designers, this home oozes unapologetic eccentricity, it's quirky, unconventional and a little different! Handcrafted, using bespoke, up-cycled building materials, every corner tells a story Located in the upcoming "Fremantle Industrial Arts Quarter" which is 5 minutes from Fremantle CBD, the beach, river and Perth City train line. The space A cosy retreat, would suit a couple who are seeking a secluded hideaway which is unusual. The main dining/living area is open plan and features a bespoke antique pressed tin ceiling, gas fireplace, sunny day bed, extensive 800+ book library, and 12 seat dining table. The glass insert in the floor, offers a view into the cellar. The new kitchen features an induction cooktop, multi-function oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge, double bowl air fryer, basic pantry, herbs, spices, etc. The main bedroom features a king size bed, walk-in robe, free-standing bath tub with an adjoining en-suite. Split system air-conditioner and ceiling fan. 51” smart TV, connected to wifi with free Netflix Upstairs, is a desk with free WiFi and sitting area. Outdoors you will find a Weber BBQ on mains gas in the outdoor kitchen, a fishpond, fire pit and seating area in a private, secluded garden. The fully equipped laundry is undercover in the outdoor kitchen . All cleaning products and toiletries provided are organic/earth friendly. Off-street free parking and a private entry. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire ground floor, second floor office area and gardens. There is no sharing of space, when rented as a Sabbatical House our guests have the entire property exclusively. The upper floor bedrooms and workshop are inaccessible at this stage. Other things to note The Sabbatical House is a bespoke work in progress.
