The space The holiday home Truffe du Quercy is set in complete privacy on a spacious estate in the heart of the Quercy region. This former farmhouse combines traditional architecture with Moroccan-inspired details and offers generous space for a relaxing stay. On the ground floor, a large open kitchen connects to the dining and living area via a bar – a perfect central spot for families or groups of friends to cook, dine and spend time together. The house includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a guest toilet. A highlight is the private outdoor pool (5 × 10 m), ideal for cooling off on warm days. Next to it, a garden house with a sauna invites you to relax even during the cooler season. Guests also have free access to a private tennis court. The park-like garden, with flowering shrubs, mature trees and wide lawns, is perfect for relaxing. Several terraces offer pleasant spots throughout the day – for breakfast in the morning sun or dinner overlooking the surrounding meadows and woods. A small pond with a rowing boat, a birdwatching hide and bicycles for nearby excursions complete the setting. Ideally located between Brive, Cahors and Lalbenque – the capital of black truffles – the house is a great base for discovery. Popular destinations such as Rocamadour, the medieval town of Sarlat, and the scenic Dordogne River are all within reach. The Lot Valley and the Causses du Quercy invite for exploration, while wine lovers can visit the Cahors vineyards, featured in Martin Walker’s Bruno novels.
