Lovely Double Bedroom in Historical Bampton Witney

Bampton, is a picturesque and historical village famously used as the filming location for the village of 'Downton' in Downton Abbey, making it a must-visit for fans of the series. Just a 10-minute walk or 1-minute drive takes you to local amenities including a COOP, charming pubs, artisan coffee shops, an antique shop, and more. Enjoy a scenic 1-mile Downton Abbey filming locations walk, and don’t miss the iconic St Mary’s Church, featured prominently in the show. The space This bedroom is located on the first floor at the end of the corridor, with a peaceful view of the back garden. A private bathroom, including a toilet, bath, and shower, is situated nearby and is for your exclusive use (not shared with other guests). The room features a small double bed, wardrobe, a brand-new mattress, and is provided with fresh, clean bedding and towels. Please note that there is no television in this bedroom. The house comprises four bedrooms and three shower rooms, two of which are en-suite (please refer to our other listings to book an en-suite room). All rooms are newly furnished to ensure a comfortable and welcoming stay. We are committed to environmentally conscious practices. As such, we use only eco-friendly cleaning products for the home, as well as for laundering bedding and towels. Additionally, we provide natural and organic personal care products in your bathroom for your convenience. However, if you prefer to use your own toiletries, you are welcome to bring them. Guest access A kettle, along with tea, coffee, mugs, and sugar, will be provided in your bedroom for your convenience. Please note that the available space includes the bedroom and the private bathroom only. Access to the kitchen and cooking facilities is not permitted, in consideration of potential guest allergies. However, you are welcome to use the microwave or store items in the refrigerator if needed. During your stay My husband and I both work from home, and while I am always happy to have a friendly conversation from time to time, I fully respect each guest’s privacy and personal space. Should you have any questions or concerns during your stay, please do not hesitate to reach out. You are welcome to send me a message or speak with me directly if I am available. We kindly ask that all guests are considerate and respectful, particularly if there are other visitors staying in the house. If you notice anything damaged upon arrival, please inform us as soon as possible. Similarly, if anything is accidentally broken during your stay, let us know so we can address the issue promptly. Should anything be missing or needed, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Lastly, if any aspect of your stay does not meet your expectations, we sincerely ask that you speak with us first before leaving a negative review, so we have the opportunity to resolve the matter. Other things to note – Upon your arrival, if I am at home, I will personally hand over the house keys. If I am unavailable, self check-in instructions will be provided in advance. – A House Insurance Disclaimer form will be available in your room. Kindly complete and sign it before your departure. – The household is shared with myself, my husband, and our six-year-old daughter.
