Nesting is a delightful shepherd's hut, surrounded by mature hedges, flower rich grasses and a natural wildlife pond, all set within traditional farming meadows. Nesting is new for 2024 and has been finished exceptionally including wrought iron and oak finishes, modern appliances, wood burner and wood fired eco hot tub. Relax in this corner of wildlife, enjoying beautifully maintained gardens, scenic distant views, and stunning green fields. The space Nesting is a beautifully equipped Shepherd's Hut located in the Blackdown Hills. The Blackdown Hills roll and straddle the border of Devon and Somerset with ancient woodland, ponds, rare plants, endless birds, butterflies and bats. Charming rural pubs, a local town and farm shop cafes are all close by to suit any occasion. Nesting has an exclusive rural setting with surrounding trees, hedges, fields and a wildlife pond to enable guests to enjoy the countryside. Nesting has a cosy part enclosed double bed to one end with a central fully fitted kitchen including an oven, hob, kettle and fridge. A sitting and dining area enjoys extensive views through a double opening window. A bathroom including a toilet, hand basin and large shower is located at the other end, separated by a solid oak door. A traditional wood burner for warmth on those chilling evenings can also be enjoyed, supplied by firewood grown only a few fields away. A purpose built stable door can be half opened if you fancy some cool fresh air during the night or some crisp morning breeze. Outside guests will light and use the wood fired eco hot tub which has the modern addition of air jets and internal lighting. The eco tub is completely chemical free and uses only fresh water. Guest access Guests have a large private area with fantastic views, surrounded by traditional farming meadows. We respectfully request that guests do not access the farmland or enter any of our farm buildings.
