The apartment is very bright thanks to the large French windows that line the living room. These open onto a private balcony overlooking the forest and mountains. Other things to note Inside, the décor is cosy and alpine, with wooden walls with exposed brick elements. There are 2 comfortable sofas, armchairs and wood-burning stove. The dining area with a table for 6, is next to the open-plan kitchen, which is separated from the main living room by a brick breakfast bar. Giving guests easy access to the ski slopes and hiking routes in the summer months. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. For winter sports, the slopes of Les Grands Montets are popular with intermediate and experienced skiers and snowboarders. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up until early May. Argentière has many of the amenities that visitors need, including restaurants and a supermarket. The weekly market, where you can find the very best local ingredients, takes place every Sunday morning. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 20 minute drive from the apartment.
