The brick-and-flint exterior of this traditional Norfolk cottage lends the place instant curb appeal, a lovely sight to admire whilst enjoying drinks or dinner in the capacious, enclosed garden. Once indoors, the traditional features continue with the use of an original Aga oven in the winter months. For seaside appeals, head towards Hunstanton (24.5 miles) to find a wide, sandy beach and coastal amusements including a Sealife centre and a kid’s fairground. You may find the neighbouring town of Heacham (23 miles) to be a little bit quieter, home to Norfolk’s famed lavender farm that’s well worth a sunny day stop off.
