The price includes the 3 meals. We send menus prior to your arrival for approval. We’ve had a growing number of special dietary requests which requires us add $10 daily to cover these needs for our guests. We have been hosting families with children for the past six years, providing opportunities for all to enjoy the outdoors. This country home is in a 30 acre working farm with lime and mangosteen trees in production. We have STARLINK internet. Enjoy the farm and the house that we’ve had for 30 years with large open spaces and unique mountain views. The dining room and the living room are almost outdoors, they just have a roof. You can also enjoy hiking, fishing, relaxing by the pool, bird watching, nearby zoo and an award-winning restaurant an hour away plus other good restaurants in La Mesa. There are hiking trails around the farm where you can enjoy watching our lime and mangosteen trees as well as the several ponds we have. Spend your time in the open living room, around the pool, use the the very long and thick pine wood dining room table, and just about anywhere you want outdoors and on the open space. Most of the time we will be around for any help you may need. You will be treated to a delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed oranges or mandarins straight from the farm. Also depending on the season there will be mangosteens. All the 3 daily meals are prepared and supervised by a Cordon Bleu chef. We are on a Vereda, a small district. The people around here are friendly people. It's nice to go for a walk on the gravel road. The farm is 2 KM (15 minutes) away from La Mesa and you have to come and go by car. Because this a working farm in the tropics very close to thick forests and we have fruit trees; mangoes, mangosteens, lime trees and orange trees, bats will appear at night. Also spiders, many insects, frogs, snakes and lizards will be seen. We have one big sized dogs, a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Yukka. The Rhodesians are super friendly and as soon as someone arrives, they show their delight a little too much and they will calm down after a few minutes and we are on the look always to hold them down. Later on they will become your guards. We also have two cats, an old lady called Lola and a young boy called Tiger.
