Fully furnished, large country house. With beautiful country views. Large wrap around front Porch and back deck. Perfect for picnics or just relaxing. Ideal location for any size of family or group. Two king beds, one queen, one full size bed plus a queen sleeper couch to meet a large family needs. During winter months you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. Wood is provided. (For small groups that use no more than 1 bedroom please contact us for a special rate.) The space This farm house was built circa 1908. House is located on State Road 14 just 3 mile West of Rochester, IN. Close enough to small town shopping. Several close golf courses, Round barn and Elks golf courses are 4 mile away. The house is 3 mile from Lake Manitou. Perfect half way point between Indianapolis and South Bend. Excellent spot to stay if traveling back and forth from Notre Dame games. This is a newly renovated house inside. The kitchen is fully furnished with all of the tools you will need to cook a wonderful meal for you or your family. There is a oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator, pots and pans, plates and much more. There is a breakfast nook located in the kitchen that has many windows to allow for viewing the beautiful country scenery and sun set while enjoying a delicious meal. In the dining room is a large farm table that can be used for family meals or activities. The family room would be a comfortable place to sit back and watch a movie or streaming TV while burning a fire in the fireplace. A DVD player and large DVD movie collection to choose from is located in the family room. In the master bedroom is a TV that has streaming available and a large spacious walk in closet and day tub. The day tub is a perfect place to sit back and relax. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom off of the bedroom. The basement has a pool table, foosball table, shuffle board, Skee-Ball and Arcade Machine. Sheets, Pillow, towels and additional blankets are available. Gas and charcoal grill on back deck. Charcoal supplied. ****All bedrooms are located upstairs. It is not handicap accessible. There is a sleeper couch and full bath on the main level for those who don't want to use second story stairway. Streaming TV and Wifi are included. Guest access You will have access to a relaxed country setting. Five acres to roam and explore, or you can enjoy lovely walks. Sit by the fire pit and roast marshmallows in the evening. Other things to note For small groups that use no more than 2 bedrooms please contact us for a special rate. (This will be strictly enforced.) We offer a 10 percent discount for stays 7 days and longer. Children are welcome, however please beware that kitchen cabinets, outlets, stairs and etc. are not child proof. Proceed with normal caution. My Simple House Rules: No pets – I am sorry but this is a pet free house. No pets are allowed of any kind. No parties, no outside visitors or no overnight guests without approval from your host. Please give us a heads up if your family or friends are going to stop by. Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property. This applies to both drugs and internet activity. If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair. Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. No smoking of any kind in the house.  If you have any questions, please let us know. For guests with plug in electric vehicles there's a 50 amp range plug available. Just bring your own charging cable.
