We’re set in the famous Affärscentrum, also known as “Vanun Talo” or the Cotton Wool House, a nod to its major tenant, a fully woman-led textile company “Oy Turun Vanu” until the 1950s. Constructed in two phases, in 1921 and 1926, the building showcases unique architectural features, including varying floor levels. Recently restored to its former glory, the building’s facade renovation was completed in early 2024, earning the title “Queen of the Marketplace” among locals.
