The space Loft BC 144 sits along Jalan Temenggong, right in the heart of a lively local neighborhood surrounded by friendly eateries, cozy cafes, small shops, and a bustling market. It’s just a 10–15 minute walk to Stadthuys, A Famosa, Jonker Street, and Sultan Well, making it easy to explore Malacca’s heritage core on foot. Once known as Mill Road and Egerton Road, this historic street was home to old spice mills and traditional shophouses from the 1930s — many of which still stand today. The road was later named in honor of Sir Walter Egerton, a colonial administrator who helped shape Malacca’s early rubber industry. The space is a newly restored heritage shophouse in 2024, conserved with modern touches for comfort.
