Traditional Japanese Guesthouse & Private Sauna ・Location: Kurio, Yakushima (Southwest area, very close to the beach) ・Capacity: Up to 10 guests, 4 bedrooms Nau is located in a serene space surrounded by nature. This fully renovated traditional house warmly welcomes all guests. Ideal for group/family trips, and more. ★ A nearby sauna is available for one free session during your stay! (Reservation required) Refresh yourself in the breathtaking nature of Yakushima! The space This is a single-story traditional Japanese house. The spacious living room can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. It features a rare Yakusugi (Yakushima cedar) dining table, which is no longer commonly manufactured. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. ● Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with a system kitchen, pots, microwave, rice cooker, toaster, and tabletop IH stove. There are plenty of dishes and cutlery available. A dishwasher is also provided, making cleanup easy for those who cook. Please note: Seasonings are not provided for hygiene reasons. ● Dining The dining area features a Yakusugi dining table, seating up to 10 guests in comfort! ● Living Room The living room is equipped with a large TV, a sofa, and cushions for relaxation. A PS5 and various board games are also available for your enjoyment. ● Bedroom ① Western-style bedroom with 2 beds, accommodating 2 people. ● Bedroom ② Western-style bedroom with 2 beds, accommodating 2 people. ● Bedroom ③ Japanese-style bedroom with futons for up to 3 people. ● Bedroom ④ Japanese-style bedroom with futons for up to 3 people. ● Toilet Two clean and well-maintained toilets with calming interiors, both equipped with bidets. ● Bathroom & Washroom The bathroom is fully equipped with shampoo, body soap, and conditioner. A Dyson hairdryer is available, along with a drum washing machine (detergent provided), which guests can use freely during their stay. ・Bath towels ・Face towels ・Toothbrushes ・Shampoo, body soap, and conditioner ・Disposable slippers Please note that sleepwear is not provided. Guest access The entire house is available for your exclusive use. There are no shared spaces with other guests. Other things to note Parking is available, but it is located about a minute's walk away. Please check the information provided after booking. Yakushima only has buses as public transportation, and there are few buses, so we recommend using rental cars to get around. In addition, rental cars may not be available locally, so please make arrangements in advance. ----------------------- The sauna facility is available free of charge, but reservations are required. For more details, please contact us. ----------------------- Due to weather conditions, you may not be able to enter Yakushima on the day. In that case, the cancellation policy will be as follows. *The following regulations will also apply in the case of consecutive nights. We have set regulations in advance to avoid trouble and ensure a pleasant trip. Please make a reservation with understanding. ・If all flights, ferries, and high-speed boats to Yakushima are canceled ・If all flights and Shinkansen to Kagoshima Airport and Kagoshima Port are canceled All cancellation fees will be refunded. ・If only high-speed boats or only flights are operating If you cancel at your own discretion, we will refund 50% of the amount. There are two types of sea transportation by boat. (Yakushima Ferry 2) (High-speed ferry Toppy) Even if the Yakushima Ferry 2 is canceled, Toppy may still be operating. The above regulations will still apply in this case. If the weather is expected to worsen in advance, please consider alternative transportation methods as soon as possible.
