Chalet Evka Závadka nad Hronom offers accommodation in a quiet environment with a maximum capacity of 14 people. There are several rooms with a private bathroom with a toilet. On the ground floor there is a spacious common room with a fireplace, a children's corner and a seating area. To prepare your own meals, you will be served by complete kitchen equipment in the kitchenette with a bar. For outdoor activities, a tripod and a kettle and a barbecue fireplace are available for guests, along with a gazebo. Next to the cottage there is a Pizzeria. The space There are two single and two quadruple bedrooms, which have their own bathroom with toilet and shower. There are also two other double bedrooms, a lounge with a fireplace and seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The cottage has one shared bathroom with toilet and shower. Závadka nad Hronom - nice walks around the village, pleasant sitting right next to our cottage in Pizzeria Biondo, in winter (in good weather conditions) possibility of skating Mountain hotel Vŕšky - a pleasant walk (slight ascent) directly from Závadka nad Hronom to the Mountain hotel Vŕšky. The round trip is about 10 km long. In the mountain hotel, you can usually get a beer or a kofola, along the way you can meet horses and there are nice views from the top. If you plan to have refreshments at the Vŕšky hotel, we recommend that you call there in advance (they are often closed or busy). Even children can handle this "hiking", at least they will get a little tired. The hotel is older, so please do not expect great luxury, rather we recommend to think of it as a pleasant walk. Polomka – a nice village about 5 km from Závadka nad Hronom, a lookout tower Polomské očko, a very nice restaurant by the slope, a children's playground, walking around the village. In winter, under good conditions, very good skiing for affordable prices Božena Nemcová spring associated with refreshments - at the end of the village Bacúch (distance 10 km) there is a spring of Božena Nemcová near the forest. You can take a pleasant walk, for example, from the village, or park your car near the spring, take a walk (further into the forest) and stop for lunch or refreshments at the Starý Mlyn restaurant on the way back Mýto pod Ďumbierom – distance approx. 30 km from Závadka nad Hronom. In winter, of course, the possibility of skiing, in other months a lot other activities and options - bike park for adults, children's bike park, riding on inflatables, riding on buggies for children and many other activities - probably for the whole day Ajax Farm - located in the village of Mýto pod Ďumbierom (the above-mentioned village). Possibility to ride horses and a mini-farm - we do not know what the mini-farm is like, but horse riding works (it is nice to find out the possibilities in advance). From the village you can get along the river paths practically to Tále - very nice romantic walks! Bystrianska Cave – a very nice cave (undemanding even for children) in the village Bystrá, which is about 30 km from Závadka nad Hronom. Before visiting it, it is good to find out if the cave is open Čierny Balog - distance approx. 30 km from Závadka nad Hronom. In winter, here too possibility of skiing, pleasant restaurant (unfortunately quite often closed due to various events). The main attraction is the Čiernohorská railway – a nice attraction for the whole family. Horehronské cycle draisines could be a very interesting and pleasant sports activity. An adventure ride by bicycle from the village of Hronec (approx. 30 km from Závadka nad Hronom) to Šánske and Čierny Balog. Kráľová Hoľa (Šumiac) – one of the most sought-after tourist challenges. For example, there are two roads from the village of Šumiac to Kráľová Hoľa – one steeper but shorter, the other less steep (preferably for cyclists) but longer. Approximately in the middle of the road there is a mountain hut under Kráľová hoľa. They make an excellent cabbage soup at the cottage. Hiking with children should be considered according to their physical and your mental capabilities. Watch out for the weather! Telgárt and surroundings - distance approx. 30 km from Závadka nad Hronom. In winter, under good conditions, excellent skiing. Throughout the year, you can visit the ski resort and have a snack, for example, in the depot café, take a walk along the beautiful Chramošský viaduct. At certain times it is possible to enjoy the ride of a historic steam locomotive, be sure not to miss the spring of the Hron river and many other nice activities in this area. Other options (tips for trips, hiking, cycling, etc.) can be found here: Ranch under the Sharp Rock – a pleasant ranch about 35 km from Závadka (direction Telgárt) - the possibility to ride on horses, a large swing to entertain the whole family and a restaurant directly on the ranch. Possibility of hiking, cycling and e-bike rental. Muráň Castle – the ruins of the castle near the village of Muráň. Marmot and giant's pasture Biele Vody Muráň (Muránska planina) – one of the most sought-after attractions for the whole family, located in the heart Muránská planina. There is a meadow full of marmots that over time got used to people over time. Especially during the months of April – September, when the marmots are active, it is a great experience for the whole family. Subsequently, the opportunity to visit the new family park "Obrovisko" – Mini ZOO, nice views and walks.
