Warm and welcoming house in the green and quiet heart of the Campo dei Fiori Park. View of the Alps, easy trails and a cool stream in the woods: this is the Cascina di Malva and much more. A crossroads in the Italian Lakes region between Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano, just a few kms from the Swiss border; the nearest train station (10 km) takes you directly to Lugano, Malpensa, or Milan, with its museums, theaters, and vibrant fashion center. For true lovers of Nature, Art, and Silence! The space The house is a small country house created from an ancient stone building typical of Lombard farmhouses. Entrance with living room, kitchen and bedroom overlooking the park and a stone fireplace for winter evenings. The bathroom with shower overlooks the surrounding park. A wooden staircase leads to a mezzanine with a double bed with a mattress on the floor and a window with a lovely view. The house is completed by a garden set in a two-hectare property with paths leading to a stream. With a bit of luck, it is possible to observe wildlife passing through the park (deer, roe deer, eagles, foxes, wild boars, squirrels). Parking is inside the property. The presence of several stairs and steps, both to access the house and inside it, makes the accommodation unsuitable for people with reduced mobility. Guest access The house is surrounded by a private park which is only partially available to guests. Upon arrival you will be given all the necessary information in this regard. Other things to note The house is ideally sized for 2 people, but can accomodate family of 4. The bed in the mezzanine is recommended for young people. The house is in the green and silent heart of a regional park and it is not permitted to disturb the peace of the place with loud music, noise or other annoying noises. the house is the annex of a nearby country house and is therefore not completely isolated. Italian law does not allow the use of central heating from April 16th to October 14th. On cold days, the house may have temperature below 18 °C. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment.
