Historic farmhouse in a peaceful country setting. Home was built by World war 2 veteran! Kitchen has all your basic needs ;Crock pot, Coffee maker and toaster , washer and dryer for your convenience! The bathroom and one bedroom is on main floor and upstairs are 2 more bedrooms plus a tiny sunroom with a daybed and a trundle bed that’s great for kids. Lovely front porch where wildlife can often be seen! Convenient location with driveway right off of HWY 80 and 5 miles from town The space This little farmhouse was built many years ago by a World War 2 veteran with lumber from the trees on the farm, including the floors! The peaceful country setting is idyllic and it’s only 11 min from Lake Cumberland! It’s a perfect getaway! Also conveniently located just a few miles up the road from Goose Creek wedding venue barn! If you’re up to a walk over the hill and through the gate down a grassy lane you’ll find gorgeous Goose Creek, spring fed and always clean!! Guest access The place is yours while you stay! Although We would prefer if you would not go into the old weathered barn on the property Other things to note This home is only 11 min from Lake Cumberland and Lake Cumberland marina! Enjoy a lower rate stay with peaceful country setting and still enjoy the day at the lake! There is a picnic table and fire pit in the yard also Goose Creek is a good walk from the house, over the hill and down a grassy lane; a pretty Creek where kids love to play in on a hot summer day, chasing Minnows and skipping rocks! We promote a TV free atmosphere to encourage a vacation spent reconnecting with friends and family in a truly memorable way!!
