Danne-Danne is an unmanned, private accommodation located about a 10-minute walk from Echizen-Ōno Station, and is limited to one group per day. Please enter the accurate number of children who will be using a futon and amenities, as they will also be charged the accommodation fee. (Infants who share a bed do not need to be included.) Sleepwear is not provided, so please bring your own. The space Danne Danne is a family owned guesthouse located in historical Japanese city Ono. "Danne Danne" is a word in the local dialect that a grandmother gently says to her grandchild, "It's okay, don't worry." Or “Take it easy.” Ono city is called Little Kyoto because it closely resembles the city of Kyoto. You can walk to the city center from the guest house( about 10-15 minutes) At Danne Danne, you can experience traditional Japanese styled house with clean, cosy rooms and facilities. Simultaneously, you can enjoy historical antiques from the time when it used to run a Japanese pastry shop. Owner is willing to receive your requests for comfortable stay prior to your arrival so please feel free to send a message after reservation. Shakudani-Washi is the only paper used as shoji paper in Japan at this time (2024). Guest access The entire first floor is available for private use; the second floor is the owner's storage space, so please do not enter. Other things to note There is a garage for two cars, but it is not very spacious, so large vehicles over 2m high or 5m long cannot park there. Please use the free “Joukamachi Higashi Chushajo” for large vehicles. The vacant lot in front of the inn is the property of another owner, so please do not park there.
